Dan Henderson
REIAC Director
Dan Henderson, CEcD, is currently the Economic Development Director for Gilbert, Arizona and since 2007 he has been responsible for the economic development, redevelopment and tourism lines of services in the community. Since joining Gilbert, Arizona in this executive leadership role with Gilbert, Dan and the EcDev team have facilitated more than $3 billion in capital investment, over 12 million new or expanded square-feet, and created or retained 25,000 jobs.
Mr. Henderson serves as a Commissioner for the City of Chandler Transportation Commission and Board of Adjustments, serves on the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC) Board, and is guest lecturer at Arizona State University for the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program teaching corporate real estate in partnership with CoreNet Global. Dan has been named by Consultant Connect as one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers, and in 2018 the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) honored the Gilbert Office of Economic Development as the Large Organization of the Year and as Economic Developer of the Year (Large Community).
